Fun demo, loved the gameplay. Its out one day after Amalur so I have to constantly swap between the two hehe.

this game is interesting, sadly it suffers from idiotic gameplay mechanics....the main one being the lack of ammo

Explain what you mean with idiotic gameplay?
Its fast, dynamic by guns and powers at the same time, its accessable and easy.

You got to keep getting new abilities so you can be able to increase your ammo, health, shield, black hole, dual wielding...etc.

Once I 8/10 got most abilities, I started loving it alot!

I loved it a lot in the beginning but right now I am stuck at the carnival level, the lack of ammo is really killing the enjoyment for me

Well make sure you swap weapons, all weapons are fun as hell to use.
But make sure you get the ability to be able to kill a enemy to gain ammo, but yes ammo is somewhat scarce, but I never had a issue with ammo, I mean its not a survival game lol.

But anyways, I was seriously, chekc the skilltree and find the ammo ability for your two little friends, take that and start using them for ammo.

Dont forget dual wielding darkness power, if you use darkness powers with dual wielding, it goes auto lock on and let the spray and pray fun of gore and splash sound begin!
I think its called Gun Kata or something (Equilibrium movie, I know lol).

just beat the game, had to turn the difficulty down in order to beat it. I didn't like it that much, thought it was a decent 5/10 shooter and a forgettable one at that. Paid $25 for it, probably worth $10 max.

Really? The game gets repetitive pretty quickly....sure the voice acting is great (for the most part), the graphic style is cool (60 FPS on pc!) but the gameplay becomes a chore within an hour or two. Also I thought the sound design in this game was pathetic, especially compared to some of the other stuff I am playing these days (Killzone 3, Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3 and Starhawk). It was just so lazy....the worst part was during the tram ride with Jenny, the sound designer just put the "ahh" effect on a loop and you get to hear it like 50 times (GRRRR). And when your darkness powers get taken away during the end, the enemies keep repeating lines like, "there's the host" "your powers will be mine"....so fucking lazy, I can't tolerate laziness like this.

There way way WAYYY better FPS's out there, this game was forgettable at best. Also there is no option to adjust the FOV in the PC version, the FOV in this game SUCKS!!!! It is narrow and very irritating.I turned it down to "mobster" (easy) during the carnival part, I just wanted to beat the game and delete it from Steam.

Playing this atm and i'm loving it. Love the style, story, voice work, gunplay, powers...really good FPS. Not keen on the COD elements, but overall i'm enjoying the hell out of it, and as a Shooter, it's much more competant then the first one.

Gunplay is a bit ass, but then they always are in games made by starbreeze. Lip syncing is horrendous, but otherwise it's good. Good adventure game elements, and a good story (generally starbreeze' strong point). Visually is hasnt aged well tho.

Agreed, the gunplay in Chronicles of Riddick was totally mediocre as well but I still loved the original and the remake. Heh, Dark Athena actually had way more gun segments compared to Riddick but as a result, it was total ass. Riddick was all about stealth, what an awesome game!

Like I said, i loved it, its just a shame you didnt like it.
