Good to see the old Deus ex work arounds are still here, can't hack a fence gate? pile up enough boxes and barrels until you can just jump over it =D

Not the best example but seems like tessellation improves character models a bit.

His head is round with tessellation on.

Weird waste of polygons. Game could be spending those resources elsewhere and looking much nicer.

It's not just the head, it's the whole character model. I think characters are quite important in this game. There is lots of talking with dudes. Big immersion killer when dudes head is like the pyramid head dudes in silent hill :P . Plus it doesn't have any effect on performance. Like in Crysis 2 they use it to some really useless stuff and because of that framerate takes 10+ fps hit.

I think the game looks awesome on PC, its very clean and runs at 60 FPS most of the time.

Now this is Deus Ex 2. fucking love this. I am really happy with the PC version. 10/10 for great inventory and UI.

I like this game. I managed to end up brute forcing my way through most of the enemies though. Stealth is never my cup of tea, but I'm liking what passes for stealth in this. I don't get hacking whatsoever though. I just click icons until it says I'm done.

Also, the hacking is hard at first with the whole icons, but you have to first locate the green orb which is greyed out, thats the core source you need to hack into.
Look what type of routes lead quickest to it and start hacking into them and just hope you dont get detected. Unless you got hacking skills detection high, you are bound to decrease the chances of detection.

Make sure you get the green orb hacked quickly if you get detected because you dont have many seconds to do it, if you fail, it will lock on to you and set the alarm if enemies are nearby.

I personally maxed out my hacking skills, and I made sure to reduce detection chances and being able to see how much chance I have for each "file" for not being detected.
If you put the cursor on any of the greyed out icons it can say like 15%, 35%...and so on. I always hack the ones that are 15% because 99% you wont get detected from them.

Yeah, its hard at first, but once you know how it works super easy to do it.
Hacking gives you free XP, and if you manage to gain alot of files and extra files (looks like tool gears and other icons) you gain maybe like XP + some anti-vrius block + credits...etc. basically bonuses.

IF you get detected and you are seconds from uploading the green orb and you know you wont be able to make it, see if you got some sort of a block of some sort items and add it to the nearest file that leads to your START point, will give you some time. (make sure you check BEFORE you start hacking).

At first I hated the hacking, but man its awesome to hack and feeling that "im I getting detected?"
And once you get detected the awesome panic music plays, love it!

So yeah, thats how hacking works lol

The hacking and game models suck in this game, but i'm enjoying the rest of the game allot, the story is pretty forgettable so far, but i'm still in the first game hub, so i'm hoping it gets better.

I actually love the hacking bits especially when enemies are around, it forces you to hurry up and not screw up. The hacking itself is far better than hacking in BioShock or Mass Effect 2

This. Being fully upgraded makes it too easy tho. But it's far more involved then most games that offer 'hacking' like mass effect, batman, fallout, bioshock, splintercell etc.

One issue I got is that there is no infinite sprint! I increased the breathing augments to be able to sprint longer though.

Yeah, or atleast give you a decent amount of time for a start point like 10sec's

You can increase the amount of time you sprint, but its not much, maybe like 2.5 seconds added.
And then there is faster sprint augment, but IMO you just need one level up for sprint length because its not worth to comprimise other stuff such as hacking, stealth...etc. whatever. Stuff you do alot to gain XP and faster and easier.
