I like what you done there man. Can you pick a less shiny surface to really sell the rubbed paint look? I think that would benefit your design..

One thing I found kind of dumb in the article is they mention how GT has all this variety as a positive point. Sure, doesn't mean it adds value. Seriously, rallying is a total joke for example. It's a proven fact (remember TOCA) that the more you do the less you do anything special/right. But anyways, as a game to me, that's really where GT has failed. It was not fun. It was fun to drive, but everything else was frustrating, and some things just downright boring, some things totally done wrong. It's not fun if tuning my car means I have to replay the same freaking events over and over just to regain a bit more money and buy a fitting car for the next event. They pushed the working for everything attitude, and you know it when you have to unlock colors for painting your car. How lame is that?

I'm just thinking, what if T10 did that. It would totally destroy the game for me. T10 has reached that sweet spot of rewarding you, and throwing incentives at you to do something. It keeps you going, without the hassle.

Anyways, I'm almost done with my second (or third?) world tour and the AI difficulty is still too easy, what gives, anyone else finding this too?

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

By the way, replays are so good now. I can't believe how improved they are, wow......they got them right this time around, thank god. I was pissed already with FM3 and them doing the same dumb nonsense replays. Mind you, PD does have the edge here still--these guys have a multiple angles for the same turns, and some nice in-car cameras too.

Yeah the GT5 stuff was abit meh, but its amazing how much T10 have done to Forza in a few years.

GT5 simply had its priorities all wrong, they focused too much on providing a giant feature list that would look good on the back of the game case rather than focusing on the fundamentals of what makes a great racing game experience. Every time I play GT5, I cant help but feel like I'm playing a game that was built back in 2005, it just feels so dated in pretty much everyway besides the physics and graphics and its even more apparent now that Forza 4 is out.It is indeed very easy for maybe the first 4 world tours, but then it gets more competitive, races are much closer and you really have to battle to keep 1st place.GT5 is indeed still king in this department, mainly because like you said, it has different sets of camera views for up to 3 laps which is great. Forza 4 has improved a lot though, I actually feel like watching them now (probably the first time I've said that about a Forza game) The thing that impresses me most overall about this game is the sound, it blows everything away, no racing comes close to be honest. Every car sounds incredibly authentic and unique, its just unrivalled stuff! PD should be embarrassed with their audio efforts in GT5 because those cars sound absolutely terrible and it genuinely make it very difficult for me to go back to it for that reason alone!

It has been proven again that Forza swap car models, mirrors work like 30fps not 60fps game and reflection are not good. Only significant improvement apart from sun rays are the replays which look great in some tracks.
