Because the Jaggies are crazy when i run it via media center but on my pc they are nowhere near as bad, and even better when i run it via xbox360 dashboard. I think it has something to do with Media Center running at 50hz
I really hope they can rectify this before release.
Now can we please get back to ogling over cars?
It just seems that the aliasing in this game is more jarring than stuff shown in PGR3. I guess taking into consideration all else forza 2 is doing and the fact that all the stuff that falls off will stay on the track that they had to tone down the aa to maintain 60fps. It would've been a visually perfect game though I think without the AA problems.

thats a screengrab and no jaggies......and the ver we are looking at (from what ive made out from the vvv and forza forums is a couple of weeks old and the ver ign is talking about is allegedly even older, final code is going out to sites to "preview/review" next week)
forza 2 is going to seriously knock us for 6
i run the footage on my 360 and its smooth as.......(well we know how that saying goes)
As IGN says the real game is showing more jaggies than what some of the screenshots Turn10 are showing us (720p gameplay where are you?). Why all the photomode stuff? Because Turn10 liead (surprise!) and 4xMSAA isn't always applied, instead it can drop to 2xMSAA -- and even no MSAA! -- to maintain the framerate.
So much for their holy triad 720p - 4xMSAA - 60fps.
How long did we have to bear through the hyperbole of 720p - 4xMSAA - 60fps? This was one of the ways they were better than other racers like PGR3 (only 2xMSAA).
Wishlist: PGR4 with a FF wheel, 2K Legends Football, and Halo 3 with an XFPS controller. And I can dream that Halo Wars will be a Battlezone PC clone...
I'm buying forza 2, but lets hope they atleast deal with the aliasing before the game comes out because that's embarassing.

Come on. Forza 1 had extremely polygonal wheels (not the tire wheel, but what the driver uses to turn), and Forza 2 still has polygonal wheels. I dare anyone to take a photomode pic anywhere close to that "interior", I wonder how the driver manages to even see the shift stick in such pitch black darkness :P
And well, as far as graphics go, they have basically delivered about 1/2 of what they promised.

People have taken the time to see how many races there will be. The result? 314 races total. Here's a breakdown by norm32
(if image is too big just edit my post mods, don't boulet time)
So basically. We'll be playing roughly 26 times on every track. And let's say a race lasts for ~5 minutes on average, that gives us 1570 minutes of "core gameplay" in career mode or ~26 hours.
Good or bad, I don't know.
