Forza Motorsport 2: Paint Job Thread

Wow. Well thanks man. Seems to jump around at the strangest of times though. Whatever...I just need to get used to it.

From my experience the wheel can make a bit of noise, like the construction isn't as solid as you'd expect for the money. But it shouldn't be arbitrarily jumping around, no. It is of course designed to fight you when you turn, like a real steering wheel would do, but if it seems erratic you might consider trading it in for a new one.

However, once in a long long while the wheel will get temporarily "stuck" pulling one direction or the other, which is annoying, but it generally corrects itself a few seconds later. I have noticed this with other wheels too.

It only jumps around a lot in Dirt. I think it is supposed to really , especially as I turned the FF up full in the settings. In that game a lot of the time you are bouncing over little jumps on the track so it kinda simulates the way the steering wheel would get loose when that happens. It is noisy as hell during dirt. But I think the steering wheel is fine. After playing a lot more I think I was just surprised at first about the FF because I've never really used it before. Thanks anyway guys.

Oh god that is freaking awesome INDIGO. If I actually had this game I'd definitely buy that off the market place. You should make a Daytona themed ride too, even if it doesn't fit -- I'll get the game ASAP just to buy them :)

I'm happy people can sell their works of art on XBL.. That gives us less talented or less patience people a chance of driving those cars aswell.. When I finally get my Xbox 360 back and have Forza 2 aswell I will certainly buy some of these painted cars online..

There's a lancia stradale in there aswell, begging for the Sega Rally treatment, but I never got round to it.

I definitely wanna make some tribute cars too, just really busy with other art stuff right now.

I wouldn't call myself its biggest fan, but I believe its THE racing game to have so its an absolute must for my lineup. The graphics don't bother me like it does others. I don't mind being a bit late picking up Forza 2 though because its not like I'm missing out on a story mode or anything. Missing Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Halo 3, Mass Effect and others on release isn't something I plan to let happen :)
