Looks amazing.

Ive been searching everywhere if there will be a way to play as diferent characters the SP, like as a game+ option.

I want to play with Anya in SP.

I already did, so far only answers from members there but I think at this point is kinda truthough, there is no way to play alone and use Anya, you can use her but if you are like the 4 player in the coop campaign.

Oh well not a big deal anyway but it would be cool to see that ass instead of Marcus's the whole game :P

Just a few more days and I will playing the beta baby!!!

Fracking sweet! anyone get in early?

Man i cant wait for the SP, no game i've played since gears2 has matched the pure excitement and fun i had with that game, plus now i get to play it online with 3 other buddies :)

been playing a few hours. its great so far, with the exception of tdm only gametypes and just the two maps. haven't seen anything gamebreaking yet. very smooth and very fun.

Retro Lancer is way too strong, also I don't know why the hell the sawed off shotgun is in the game. It's such a cheap ass weapon and you can't go into a 1on1 against it with the gnasher.

Also there are no dedicated servers. Everything is running on a peer to peer basis. The netcode is not bad, but it's still easy to tell the host. Host migration is a bitch (round starts from scratch), and sometimes you can get disconnected. I have my doubts whenever we'll all get dedicated servers.

I'm happy BF3 is released shortly after this. If Epic can't get their act together I'll happily snap the DVD and give a fuck about Gears.

The gears forum seem to be posative about the BETA thus far, some have mentioned the lancer being too powerfull, whils others have stated they can counter it with ease? But I guess that's what the beta is for to try an balance out the weapons better, one things fo sure come full release Epic better have dedicated severs like they promised, or some super slick quick matching lobby or there MP will get all the flak it deserves.

Yeah they said there would be dedi servers. It's weird the beta doesn't have them... you would think they would want to test them. Whether it does at launch will determine whether I am even interested in buying it

I'm a huge Gears nerd, and I've stayed with the franchise through thick (Gears of War) and thin (Gears of War 2). Before I played the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta, I was cautiously optimistic. After spending a few solid hours with it, though, I'm downright thrilled.

The dedicated servers (when they're switched on) make the online multiplayer experience smooth and predictable, eliminating the dreaded host advantage. That's such an important change to the Gears multiplayer experience. And there are small touches throughout that add up to something special. Weapon pickups are handled differently from other actions in the game now, so you won't accidentally grab pistol ammo when you're trying to revive a teammate. There's an enemy-spotting function that significantly increases your tactical options. And characters just handle better than they did in Gears 2. They feel less floaty, more rooted to the ground.

I hope they aren't trying to figure out if the DS are necessary b/c we all already know the answer to that...

Played 5 matches with no lag at all, I very much enjoyed it and way more that Gears 2, now I can stop a charging dude with my lancer before he chainsaw me and that is awesome, Lancer is powerfull enough now that if you want you make soem decent matches with it, but Im more of a Gnasher player myself and after 3 matches I was starting to get some kills like I usd to in Gears 1.

I think Epic really nailed this time, also graphics for being the MP part of it are indeed beautifull that I think SP will be insane.

All in all this is day one for me.

Download it from somewhere and copy it on a stick (google it how it's done). People on my friendlist are playing since last Saturday since it doesn't ask for a code.
