That's a very cool ultimate edition.

I'm quite tempted to import the GOW1/2 + GOW3 demo package. I assume it will be region free, as all PS3 games.

But what about the demo? It gives us a code to download it on PSN. I bet it won't work, and will give us with this message: Only USA :|

I think i will wait until some European imports it and try :)

Addition of anti-aliasing and HD goes a far way in re-beautifying these gems. Here's a vs between PS2 an PS3 versions. Damn, the game looks even better than some of the next-gen titles out there, that is amazing and sad at the same time. See here:

yeah, looks a lot smoother then the original (duh) so it looks better already, but it's not like it's going to win any graphical awards or anything...it is still a PS2 game afterall. i will say this tho, i've actually seen worse current gen games then this...lol

Anyway AWESOME news for PAL people. God of War Ultimate TRILOGY Edition announced!!!! this is not to be confused with the ultimate Edition announced a couple of weeks back by the way. This is the entire TRILOGY!

The only thing I want is the Dominus Skin which looks awesome and Combat Arena which is where replayvalue gets in.

Just played the demo, and man, I'm super excited! The game looks fantastic and plays great. It might lack the really fine graphical polish of something like UC2, but it more than makes up for it(not that it even has to) in art design.

The only thing I don't like is having to use the PS3's controller to play it. Otherwise, can NOT wait for this!

played it ages ago. it was really good. kinda hard to get super excited by it since it lacked any sort of platforming/puzzle solving element, which is just a big an element of god of war as the combat imo. but the combat was just as good as past games, if not better. nothing really to complain about. cant wait for it to come out.

I would post the scans if I was certain if we are allowed to do so from a japanese mag.

Anyway, I saw them, epic view on the first scan on top images with Poseidon, just pure epic!

I hope the combat is more polished than what it was than the old demo that was leaked on PSN, but considering it was from E3 I am gonna give them a break and hope for the best, I do think it will be better.

With me just bought the awesome Darksiders, now I got to wait until March for GoW3!

don´t know if this was already said, but the embargo stops at january 18th. All the people that seem to got the chance to play the latest build are...well...speechless.

Uncharted 2 is said to be surpassed already and the graphics seem to be like 90 % close to the CGI Trailer from GOW 3 in 2008, I guess it was 2008, the reveal trailer. They also say that it looks way better than the demo.

Well, I played GOW 1 and 2 but the game never impressed me that much, so I´m only interested if all the praise from the editors are true in terms of graphics.

Uncharted 2 surpassed? I guess considering what God of War's visual style is like, they may just have a personal preference for the artstyle, but outright surpassing Uncharted 2 in the graphical department -- well, we'll just have to see, I suppose.
