Since 7378 DaysEither way, yes, man, wow, it really looks very very very pretty. For some reason I didn't think it would.. look.. that pretty. I still think that once the camera pulls back and you get crazy enormous boss fights the visual "impression" you get will be one of scale instead of fidelity and I think that will probably justify my initial anticipation that it would "feel" similar to GOW 1 and 2, visually. I didn't really consider the fact that there are quite a lot of more "intimate" visual moments in a GOW tho, and this looks to offer some breathtaking halls and stuff like that.
Chalk another game up on the list of "games with more believably alive looking characters than Heavy Rain" though. For shame, David Cage.
