The second video, entitled "Believe," will be the full-length version of an upcoming TV commercial that's part of the game's launch campaign. The additional footage will only be available to view on Yahoo! Games.

I think thats a pretty creative way to market the game. Especially if the execution is top notch.

Meaning Master Chief is gonna save the day in Halo 3 and everybody lives happily ever after (how a surprising ending!)
Kinda weird if u asked me.... Just like showing Gandalf in the Two Towers trailer when everyone who didn't read the books thought he was dead (for the record I did read the books before hand) :)
"Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing. "
#1 Who that has played Halo 1 and 2 or kept up with recent Halo 3 related news and has full knowledge that Bungie is talking this one up as the end of Master Chief's story didn't at one point suspect Master Chief might die in the process of saving humanity?
#2 There was an ad in EGM one time that stated. "A hero need not speak. When he is gone the world will speak for him."
#3 If Master Chief were to really end up dying in Halo 3 who here would honestly be surprised? If he dies we atleast had an idea in the back of our heads (way before this stuff) that it was going to happen so it isn't necessarily a spoiler. The details of HOW he dies would be the real spoiler for me.
Also yea if he's speaking about serving with Master Chief that definitely suggests that he probably died. That alone though will instantly make some feel this game is a must buy to experience it for themselves. Atleast it is for me.

I don't plan on watching it until I have my copy and I'm playing it.

I went to gamefaqs to a completely unrelated forum (super paper mario), and the goddamn spoilers were all in the title of a topic on the page.
The ending is exactly what I thought would happen.
At least they can't spoil all of the details in between for me!
Avoid ALL FORUMS LIKE THE PLAGUE!

A memoriam like that isn't usually dedicated unless there was a HUGE body count. And look at it. It looks as bloody as the Normandy Beach invasion. I'm assuming that IS water the marines are hip deep in as they charge what seems to be a beach head.
It looks like anything but a happy ending
Humanity isn't wiped out... or a bit "worse" the Galaxy is wiped out :)

THERE IS A FINE line between dedication and mass stupidity. Most XBox360 hardcore gamers are not dedicated, take those lining up yesterday for Halo 3. Yeah, 14 days in advance, they are lining up outside the Metreon in San Fransisco.
