Although im not gonna buy Halo 3, atleast not these "days" I will admit that, that screen looks very good.
Too hyped over Haze and Dark Sector instead? It does look good. I don't know if I want lights on my spartan though--SHOOT ME, I'M OVER HERE!

Oh Grift, well this year DS aint out. As for FPS I want Killzone 2. Haze is a early FPS game for me.

lol I watched and it wasnt much of a spoiler though it kinda confused me at first it doesn't give much away all it really does is point out that the arbiter is on your side I guess its a thing for people that didnt play halo 2

And that's only one of the few modes people can produce....
One thing: Forge? is it all that it promises to be? It seems a little shallow:

adding and deleting weapons?
adding and deleting spawn-points?

And i'm talking about the things you can do during the game, not when u edit a map or something....

What also seems weird: players can swap between a monitor and player on the fly:

Example, i turn in to a monitor, fly up to a hard to reach vantagepoint, then spawn a sniper and a Rocket launcher and turn in to a player again:

Voila the ultimate camper spot....

Not that I give much credit to Famitsu's reviews, but a good score regardless. For reference, does anyone know what Halo 1/2 scored in Famitsu? I expect it will get equally high praise from most publications.

What happened to the embargo, anyway? Does that not apply to Japanese magazines?

Simply not connecting to the internet doesn't appear to be a solution either. The rep also confirmed that Microsoft is able to ban accounts based on information collected by the console which shows when the game was played. This news is sure to come as a shock to some gamers who have already started playing the final chapter in the blockbuster Halo trilogy.

Total BS.

Consumers are not responsible for release dates. They are only responsible for buying said products when retailers make them available. It is up to MS to enforce such directly with retailers.

If MS wanted a "do not open" rule, they could have had a time release code--or bit the bullet and overnight express mailed the games the 23rd.

Seeing as consumers aren't doing anything illegal, I called BS on this. If MS does it to honest consumers (not retail employees) I could see a class action.

I think that Frankie said that was bull, only the Episilon illegalites got the ban-hammer.

Didn't happen with Halo 2 or the map-pack, no reason why I should happen here. There's little to be gained from it. MS are cracking down on the retail outlets that are breaking street date though.
