So, I was watching some CTF from PAX, and I noticed this in the perk list. I guess this is old news, but it's the first I had heard of it. Halo adopting the Call of Duty rifle/sidearm configuration?

If so.. what's a "secondary" weapon in Halo? The three pistols?

I played the shit out of Final Fantasy IX, and that looks nothing like Final Fantasy IX.
That doesn't look very similar to one of the first open world parts you go to after leaving that castle looking location? I even pretty certain there was a destroyed piece of machinery on top of a mountain that looks almost identical to the one in that halo picture.

Sorry for off topic stuff, but ff9 is the shit, and one of the best the series has ever seen. I could've sworn I've seen people wielding two primaries before. Was that always due to that perk or support package? 10 min vidoc better not be just multi related. I want to see some sp, too.

Yes, the category "secondary weapons" are the smaller handguns. Confirmed secondary weapons are the Magnum, Plasma Pistol, Boltshot (a promethean mini flamethrower). I guess there are more. And yes the screens are old, but thx for posting ^^

Sentry Gun and Field Generator, both are Armor Abilities, are now confirmed and were usable in the PAX build.

Uh.. those screens were from PAX Prime gameplay. And I grabbed them off the youtube stream.. so they're not old :P There are a lot more perks and AA than I expected. I didn't expect the jetpack to return either.

This will sound corny as hell, but this game is like a dream coming true. All the potential that I felt was always there to be taken advantage of, 343 seems to be addressing in some form or another. Even without knowing how the story related stuff will all pan out, the very fact that they are attempting a lot of the stuff they say they are, and we have enough visual evidence to at least support that they really are delving into this stuff, is really damn exciting. Now, that is what I call a super soldier. By no means should this guy ever appear like, nor seem like any other human being. He shouldn't just come off like some random guy that was just fortunate enough to be wearing a super expensive piece of high tech armor that nobody else has the luxury of having. He's much more than the suit of armor he's wearing, and they seem to be really capturing that. We are back in the Chief's shoes, but this time we're also getting a bit of the Chief that we read about in the books, finally.

So 343 is at least going for it on the story end, and they've also confirmed video terminals, like what were in Halo CE: Anniversary as well. I've never truly explored or searched around for anything before in a Halo game, but I will be exploring and searching every corner for those things.
