SE sneaked their asses in with this one though, since it was originally being published by MS. But I'll give it to them :p

Hopefully, this will at least mean the CGI(which already looks great) and VA will at least be top notch since SE is now involved.

Also, I didn't know Sakuraba was doing the music for the game. That be an added bonus in my book.

Awesome that trailer was nice. The battle system looks interesting. That enemies attack appeared to be dynamically changing the environment.

Or atleast knocking things around.

Beatiful, I think this is the game from Japan for the 360 I've been waiting for. Im definetely going to buy a PS3 someday to play FFXIII, but with games like Infinite Undiscovery I'll have no problem waiting a few years. I can't wait, I love you Tri-Ace.

I'd like to learn more about the discovery stuff they've been talking about and how it ties into the gameplay.

Does it mean you take advantage of your environment to take down certain enemies? Does it mean you discover and interact with specific things throughout the game world and out of nowhere something can present an obstacle for you preventing you from investigating? Who knows.
In a world created through AI from the senses of sight, sound and smell, you make a discovery, and an by taking action based on that, you create a result with impact."

The game makes use of a new "Situation Battle" system. This system involves gameplay situations changing in real time, and players having to take appropriate actions. As an example, Ogawa showed a screenshot of your party attempting to escape from a prison. A giant ogre appears on the scene and wreaks havoc on allies and enemies alike.
Okay interesting so far, but I agree with IGN some parts did look rough, but its early so that could be it. Hopefully this discovery stuff is cool.

I have a bit of a problem with the graphics to be honest, it looks kind of like a very smooth PS2 game "dare i say"

The ground textures are shite in some of those screens to be honest.

I was expecting more from Tri-Ace ... not amused.!!

At least the gameplay looks good which is what counts.

I wouldn't assume because SE is publishing it that it would have a good VA, remember the likes of Grandia 3 and Star Ocean 3, some of the worst voice acting i have experienced in a game.

spell it right! It's tri-Ace! :p

The graphics are acceptable(good enough) to me, but I would be lying if I didn't say I was expecting a little bit better. I wouldn't call it PS2 HD though, but the the game does seem to resemble FFXII sort of(forgive me!).But like you said, the gameplay looks ace, and that's all that really matters to me when it comes to an tri-Ace game really.

hopefully they'll change it for the western release(Yeah Right!). I don't care how they try to explain themselves, "Undiscovery" just sounds retarded. But whatever, this wouldn't be the first game to have a stupid name.

Gamespot has an interview with the director of Infinite Undiscovery up. Gives us some details behind the characters and what is going on in the trailer. Very interesting.

Also interesting to hear that this was originally only a Tri-Ace and Microsoft project, with Square jumping onto the band wagon last minute. They're very hesitant still to do anything for the Xbox 360 it seems.

So it sounds like Microsoft's responsible for making sure Tri-Ace has all the help they need to make this game look as incredible as possible from a graphical and overall technical standpoint.

I really like the concept of it thus far so it seems as though on numerous occassions while you're pre-occupied with one thing they'll toss some other factor into the mix. So I'm probably fighting some powerful warrior and then at the same time that I'm trying to deal with him some big tiger comes out of nowhere and presents a problem for example is what they are suggesting I guess. Hopefully they execute it well since it sounds like a great idea.

Square Enix's involvement with this project alone should have a nice effect in Japan since then it guarantees people should be paying attention to it.

I just realized something while glancing at trailer.

Did you guys know that at 53 seconds into the trailer you are physically carrying someone while that flying creature is shooting at you? I didn't see it until now.
