Really digging this game. It's brilliant. Everything is fantastic. The setting, voice-acting, facial animations, dialogues, cases ... I really love it. Too bad I have almost finished it ... "side-quest's" could be more varied though ...

Heavy Rain was pure boring game that had only QTE (I hate QTE in all games).

This one you can actually move around like a 3rd person action game...now and then.

Only thing I like about LA Noir is the facial technology and the setting, but overal its not a game for me.
Yeah but that game was also popular. Both games are boring

Can't believe how much this game is pulling me into its world!, its so engrossing with real quality writing and acting. At first i tried to wing it in the investigations, thinking i could always get it right in questioning, i was wrong!, now its all about evidence gathering and that golden Notebook coupled with some good old fashioned intuition, love it :D
Yep loving it also, i'm on the Murder Desk now and taking my time and being very thorough, the acting and voices are superb!, facial animations unmatched and case stories are very engrossing.

trying to take my time with it, so it will last longer :), but it seems to be a nice lengthy game.

Absolutley loving this game, its everything i thought it would be!, quality characters/writing/story amaizing facial animations, Rockstar have done it again. :D

That's a bit harsh lol..

I'm a sucker for noire films and also love the old detective classics like Columbo and the new Law and Order CI / SVU / Criminal Minds ect... so this game was always going to be a win for me, it still has the clunky GTA/RDR shooting running driving controls, but it's still a great game and the acting and writing is top notch.

I recommend watching some gameplay videos and reading the reviews from the respected sites, to see if it's your type of game, personally I love it :)

it's awesome up to that point. goes downhill after you complete the homicide department missions, vice is good, but short lived, and arson is just boring...and the gameplay ends up breaking down into a typical GTA mission. bit of a shame tbh. homicide should have really been the department you built up to. end on a high instead of fizzling out.

still beter then the bore-fest RDR.

Is the ending as "fucking absurd" as Yahtzee says?
