I am LOVING Disc 3 ... so Many cutscenes, so many new characters ... it has got to be the best disc so far!

What's wrong with the US packaging ????

It's 3 discs stacked all into one slot, with the 4th disc tucked away in it's own CD sleeve. I believe the PAL package came with it's own individual slots no? It's just cheap really, but it's not as big as a deal as some are making. I'm also glad to see the load times seemed to have been reduced compared to what I saw from the JPN videos.

Also, friend of mine who works at GS gave me this pre-order bonus card for like an exclusive level and weapon apparently. Just input the code and what not. I don't want it, so who ever does, It's yours.

I dont know about PAL. the game is not released here until February 29th. I have the Asian version and the packaging is BRILLIANT ... four slot for each disk.

Yeah, Seth and jensen in fact own all others! The humour in this game is done really well and they guy voicing Jensen has done a brilliant job!

Why they couldnt release it in same case as Europe and Asia?

Anyway, i still didnt finish LO... Stoped at DVD4, need play to finish it ^^

The funniest part i had in the game was when Sed saw Seth and said: MOM lol. Was so funny :p

Equip the Yellow band if you have it so that you dont get paralysed. that band has the Anti paralysis effect. Also. Try and focus your party on defeating one of the small enemies so that you can wipe them up as quickly as you can. after all they are the ones that make the giant worm so dangerous. I would do this:

Kaim and Seth attack ONE worm and Jensen casts Fire on the giant worm

It worked this way for me :D

worm is fire element! U must cast water on fire elements!

U must go to the staf site and buy the new weapon there and give all your seeds to rabit in a vase - he will give U adamantis ring. with it water power and new weapon U can kill Bogimoray
equip null paraliz(Yellow band) thing and power up Kaim and Seth with spesial elexir.

Use Aqua, not Fire.

Just start off with Jensen's AOE attack(name escapes me) at first, clear out the remaining worms with Kaim and Seth. Also, may want to equip them with an Aqua ring, but I don't know if it really helps(I had them). Then once the small ones are gone, spam Aqua(or regular attack with Seth and Kaim, your choice) with everyone till the big one dies. Then for the 2nd go round, spam Aqua/Attack the big worm like crazy. I completely ignored the littles ones 2nd time go, and just focused on the giant. Took him out pretty quick. As long as they keep charging, and don't force your ass, you should be ok. Just make sure Jansen is good to go, Kaim and Seth can take one for the team :p

ok guys! ever since this game was annouced i've been eyeing it since then. but from recent reveiews i read it has not been good or hasn't lived up to the expectation. main complaint i hear is how old school the game with updated graphics. its like playing one those classical shooter like doom, while fun you feel its oudated even if you where to make it with current graphics but same gameplay mechanics as the original

I would say it's worth trying out. Rent it if you can if you're sort of conflicted.

Probably shouldn't bother getting it then. You gotta look beyond such pointless complaints everyone knew what the game was going to be from the very beginning.

So you either like how Lost Odyssey handles the old mechanics along with the story, characters, game world, art direction or you don't. It shouldn't be judged so harshly on the mere fact that it maintains some trademarks of the genre.

For those with the game. How hard is this game? If I play on the easiest difficulty, is it extremely easy?

I'm in for a good lengthly story, and this game looks like has that.

As you know though, turn based rpgs, and even worst (with random battles) are not my thing at all. I just don't like that. So if difficulty is extra easy, why not. I just want to rush past the battles basically. If easy enough I would buy it at first price drop.

I'm in for a good lengthly story, and this game looks like has that.

As you know though, turn based rpgs, and even worst (with random battles) are not my thing at all. I just don't like that. So if difficulty is extra easy, why not. I just want to rush past the battles basically. If easy enough I would buy it at first price drop.

1st: you dont get to choose the diffculty.
2nd: The game I think is the right difficulty, a tad on the hard side but that's in place so that it keeps you on the edge of your seat and I have to say it's BLOODY FANTASTIC! every battle is a like a mini strategy game
3rd: Voice acting and Story are SUPERB. Very likeable characters.
4th Random Battles shouldnt be a word used in this game because honestly fighting happens exactly at the right time. encounters are very well spaced. I am on disc 3 and I feel like I did not fight that much at all.

If you dont wanna buy it rent it but I stringly suggest you buy it. RPGs are not meant to be rented
