Mods, stop changing my SIG! I'm going to end up banning you!
Of course when it's free all the bitching just sounds childish and annoying.
ME2 blew me away it was so amazingly well done, I'm not gonna give bioware too much shit for lackluster DLC content when they delivered what is imo the best single player game so far this generation.
Prepare To Drop!!
The hammerhead showed some promise, like the Mako did, but it had some serious flaws.
If they've gone to the trouble of creating this vehicle, I would expect some more DLC featuring it in the future, but if its of the same standard; I can pass.
Now, speaking as a purchaser of both the ME1 DLCs, I wasn't particularly impressed with either, both were overpriced. The Kasumi DLC seems maybe slightly longer but with a jump in price to boot. I won't be jumping on it unless there is overwhelmingly positive reactions. I've got quite enough to occupy me already.
Ignorance is the true enemy of all things.

But anyways, I managed to get a nice profile 360 controller through Xpadder for PC and it works perfectly, so that was the sole reason I am starting to play it again, mong I am not strayed away by other games which I have been within these few weeks.
But yeah, the game is definitely much better in gameplay, Grunt's design is off the hook beautiful, mighty nice design and detail.
I kind of regret going with Soldier, but if I decide to replay it, I will go with a more biotic or tech route.
But yeah definitely one of the best sci-fi games I have played so far, doesnt matter RPG or not, just plain fantastic sci-fi game which I love.

Over all I think the Soldier is the most uninteresting class. It plays just like a variation of Gears. You can use every weapon but you'll only be using one weapon most of the time (the first assault rifle you get).

The Kasumi DLC was short but sweet. Like a delicious meal where the portions were just too small to sate your appetite, you're going to want more. I was using my Fem-Shepard so she really looked great in the sexy black dress that Kasumi gave her. It was also refreshing to see my Fem-Shepard actually looking feminine for a change and you get to keep the outfit as casual wear. I'll have to try out the Shepard Tux on my next go round. I'm only sorry that my Shepard walked around with her limp, in that dress she should have been slinking her hips to get more into character.
Kasumi's loyalty quest had a kind of sophistication and maturity that some of the other squad mate's quests quite honestly just lack. I put this quest in the same league with Thane and Garrus' quests, it produced these nice familiar moments where you almost felt like a Council Spectre again.
Once you choose to take up the quest, you jump the Normandy to the Planet Bekenstein which is located in a system Right-Next-Door to the Citadel. It is referred to as the "Human's Illium" and with good reason, it is just as beautifully developed and just as crooked as the Asari colony it's compared to. Donovan Hock, an underworld figure with either a Scottish or Afrikaner's accent is throwing a party where he has invited an assortment of criminal/corporate elitist scum. No one there is ashamed of that fact either, they celebrate it. Donovan's home (where the quest takes place) will have you feeling the same way you felt the first time you arrived at the Citadel, especially when you step outside and get a look at Bekenstein's skyline in the horizon.
Finally! A squad mate with useful skills! Kasumi has a stealth attack that Thane should have had, after all he was supposed to be the assassin. She's great all the way around whether it be an aggressive gun fight or a more tactical engagement. Her flash grenades are awesome! Shields, weapons and armor all react like a super overload to it. She's fantastically voiced and has Thane's demeanor, cool.....calm.
Kasumi's arrival opens up the Normandy's Port Observation and surprisingly there's a bar in there! She has the room decorated with her paintings that she gives descriptions for when you tour the room. Much like Zaeed, that's the extent of her interaction, although she does drop some interesting comments here and there. She seems to be attracted to Jacob but nothing is developing between the two of them so far.
Kasumi's quest involves retrieving a box with both very personal and intimate data and classified Alliance intel that her former lover interlaced together before Donovan killed him. He has a message for Kasumi, but he's also made it impossible to destroy any part of the data without destroying the whole thing. It flashes by very quickly but you can clearly see that Alliance has data on the Reapers, data that if made public would make the Alliance's denial of the Reaper menace very embarrassing.
You have a choice of telling Kasumi to destroy the box and the Alliance intel or save it. I told her to save it. Those Alliance bastards that trashed my Shepard's name for two years aren't going to get off that easy!
But this tells you the fantastic direction Bioware is going with ME2 DLC and I like it alot. Clearly this plot is going to be revisited in the future and Kasumi's very interesting backround will be further explored.
Well worth the space points IMO.
