2010-12-13 13:15:00 Posted by Megido I agree that the problems should be fixed, not removed. ME2 feels very dumbed down compared even to the very light RPG elements found in 1 and that's saying something. --- |

2010-12-13 14:33:35 Mass Effect was never a heavy RPG it invented its own cinematic action/rpg genre, and i love it!, i also love me some old skool Oblivion / D.A and the likes. It is sad that we will never get to see any really deep Baulders and KOTOR type games again on the consoles, but sales dictate what Studios are willing to take a chance on these days, so i think those days are gone. --- |

2010-12-13 14:39:28 I know it was not heavy on it, but thats no excuse to lighten the load even more so. --- |

Why can't there be an RPG that doesn't burden me with that shit? ME2 had everything I ever wanted from an RPG: Great characters, great dialogues, some choices, leveling and classes, interracial sex everything in front of an epic background and backstory. I'd understand if you were all up in arms if the first game didn't turn out to be such a turd in terms of collecting equipment and exploration in general. But it didn't and Bioware changed it for the better. And if it means they can make even more great games because their games become more successful more power to them. |

2010-12-13 19:34:46 Bioware went too extreme with everything after everyone complained. Even IGN lists it in their "what to do in 3" article, and IGN are typically fools. |

2010-12-14 04:58:41 Mass Effect 2 is unbelievable; I'm actually playing it from time to time on my PC when I get the chance. I need to finish it. I watched that trailer against my better judgment, hoping to not get spoiled. Luckily there wasn't much anything in there I hadn't already fully anticipated. --- |

There hasn't been a "hardcore" FPS in five+ years. I also agree on the FPS genre. I recall an FPS game having many years of life, communities, clans, etc. It is all but extinct now. Now we just get new sequels released in short time spans, abandoned online services, and terrible gimmicks over quality. Just because a game is smashed full of random shit doesn't make it good. BFBC2 is the closest thing in recent memory to come close to what fps used to be. One can't help but worry about what direction it is headed in though. More devs should be ripping off Bungie's matchmaking system and amazing consumer support. |

2010-12-14 23:13:42 Yeah I didn't say it wasn't by any means, and made mention of its direction. I can still see 1942 when I play the game though (esp in 1943), which is why I do enjoy playing it so much. |

2011-04-08 02:59:49 If that is going to be the suit/armor then I cant help but to feel a little disapointed, I mean the jump from the first one to the second one was like night and day in details, I see no such jump here, only a few little more detailed suit interior and thats it. --- |

2011-04-08 03:43:33 err this is an artwork, and if your expecting a big graphical jump you will be disappointed. |
