We all know what Mass Effect is about, and we got a lot of info. But we got like 2 "real" videos, and those are the old walkthroughs.

I want the video shown at GDC, if not, I am not interested of knowing anything else again, until the game is out.

Thats not the reason why i won't be getting this game, it's because i disliked GRAW and hate shooters.

From the sounds of it this game will be very much an RPG/shooter, which is kool for those that want the 2 genre's mixed, but for me it's disappointing.

I was kind of hoping that Mass Effect would have some weapon customisation and not be centred around shooting, but so far that doesn't look to be the case.

lol, you knew what kind of responses you would get when you posted that :P

I wasn't a big fan of GRAW either, so I can understand. Still, the game brings a lot more to the table than GRAW did, so I wouldn't write it off just yet. However, I think you may have a change of heart when newer media(video) and info about the game pops up as it nears towards release day. But, we will see ;)

exactly... which is why no one should convince jolli to buy it. The fact that jolli "hates shooters" "dislikes Graw" and would not buy this game based on the comment "KOTOR meets GRAW". shows that this game will be friggin awesome, and 99.9% of European and N. American gamers will love this game.

Funniest post of the week! :D You have had a number of occassions to slight ME, even way back from the beginning with comments about JRPG v WRPG. You may have decided at some point to get the game, but at other times have noted not. Love hate relationship? You do know you can like games OTHER than JRPGs! :P

You should pay more attention then. Combat can be played at any pace you wish, up to and including full on realtime.

Of course and i was starting to warm to the idea of Mass Effect, but the gameplay looks seriously boring to me, obvious that's because its based around shooting.

I like plenty of non Japanese games by the way and many non JRPG games.

That deoasn't make much difference, seems the only battle is using guns and a few magic based attacks.

I was hoping for some melee weapons.

so what you are saying is that you find the combat boring because of the lack of melee weapons. So if we find out they include melee weapons then you can think next time before writing such crap.

It's hardly such crap, it's a concern that i have for the game.

As far as i know and from what i have seen, this game is basically a shooter with RPG elements and story telling.

Which yes thats great for fans of shooters, but for me... not so much.

If I find out that melee is an option then this game will be back on my list of games to buy.

If something as small as including melee weapons could sway you to buy possibly the greatest game of all time, and at least the greatest next gen game yet, then you really have no interest in this game. It's pretty clear that you enjoy writing mindless posts about games you are not interested in just for a reaction.
