Gamersyde est un site de média-information consacré à l'actualité du jeu-vidéo consoles et PC, et spécialisé dans la production et diffusion de vidéos de haute qualité à très haut bitrate dans leur résolution et framerate d'origine. À l'heure où la compression vidéo exagérée devient de plus en plus la norme sur Internet, Gamersyde est le dernier petit village gaulois à encore résister à l'envahisseur Youtube. Toutes les vidéos sont disponibles en téléchargement et en streaming, jusqu'en 4K et 60 images par seconde dans les deux cas, et dans une qualité largement supérieure à celle de Youtube pour le streaming. Nous sommes également en mesure d'enregistrer des extraits de jeu en HDR pour les joueurs équipés d'écrans compatibles. L'intégralité de notre contenu est gratuit, et accessible en français ainsi qu'en anglais.

Inscrit depuis 7469 JoursAnd what some of our resident rocket scientists have failed to realize about the newly created Halo thread, is that it was created out of an abundance of caution to avoid dropping major spoilers about the game's story smack dab in the middle of a discussion thread where people are currently in the process of playing the game, or maybe haven't yet finished the campaign. It was an attempt at very basic courtesy, but needless to say people said "fuck that" and instead did everything they could to muddy the waters between the two threads.

Inscrit depuis 7469 JoursI'm all for getting used to 48fps, though. It might look weird at first, but sooner or later some of the unbelievably impressive things on screen combined with the supposedly more real look of everything, may just end up impressing people that much more.

Some say it would make movies look more like soap operas or those 120hz and 240z televisions that unrealistically speed things up on screen, making them look incredibly fake, and if that's what this 48fps experiment will ultimately lead to, then I say it's better to go with the, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' mantra.
However, that would be a concern if all big budget movies do is just rely on some cameras, they don't. They use all sorts of computer and post processing work, and how good or bad any one movie looks may simply just come down to how good a job they do with the post production phase of the movie, and should we really be concerned about that from top studios? I also do often times desire for some of the scarier, more intimidating scenes in movies to look more convincing. Maybe 48fps might be the solution to this problem.

Inscrit depuis 7443 JoursNow how this 48fps thing is going, I dont know until I see it, but as you said...if its anything like the fake speed these HDTV have then it will be a pain.
I read the news here in Sweden that SF theater company wont get the new technology with 3D and 48fps in time for the premier and fans are upset about it to not be able to see the way PJ made it, so for the next 9 day after premier its regular 2D with 28fps, IMO if that is how I can see it, then I dont mind (depending on day and time).
But if I watch it when tech arrives well, hopefully I wont get annoyed by speed, I know i will get annoyed by 3D since i get headaches from time to time since i use my regular glasses and the 3D ones so there is like a slight "weight" on my upper nosebridge and that pisses me off.
But who knows what will happen and how it will turn out, I just hope it doesnt suck in general lol.
