This game is way original for its concept and gameplay, like BioShock, hard to give up on this one (although I didn't buy Bioshock).
PS3: MGS4 - Metal Gear Online - Killzone 2 - Uncharted - Haze - DMC4 - God of War 3
360: Mass Effect - Assassin's Creed - Call of Duty 4 - DMC4 - Dark Sector - Ninja Gaiden 2 - Too Human - Fable 2 - Resident Evil 5
Looks awesome!
And yes I saw tearing, but I hope they fix it, if not, well we got a great game anyways.

This game can easily grow into a GTA type hit. It looks fun and just feels new. There are so many different directions in which they could take this thing. They can have a Ninja simulator if they wanted the engine just seems perfect for a number of different things.

IMO, Ubi Montreal is the most valuable studio that Ubi has.

For example making those small throwing knives so easy to use. They don't attempt to put skill into it unnecessarily they just make it work and I think that will help keep the game fun.
Had that been a mechanic where the player was aiming himself for those knives I could see how it could start feeling really tedious. The real skill should come from the decisions you make in the game, knowledge of your surroundings and how you handle combat.
He's an extremely skilled Assassin just make his throwing knives be accurate cause situations where the player would throw his knives and miss just seems extremely out of place and disrupts the flow.

At the same time, every demonstration I have seen of this game has made it look incredibly easy.
I see issues in AC like shadowing, screen tearing...etc. but I decide to look past that just because of the art, story, and the fact that you can climb anywhere is very cool.

You should have said that its the most impressive next-gen game on consoles, make it more specific for no misstakes.

The game mechanics and a ton of other things to me fit the talked up vision of what a next gen title should represent.
Most games as much as I love them are usually only next gen in terms of their graphics or number of enemies on the screen. This game I feel earns that label in quite a number of ways.
Not that a game playing like many other games before it is a bad thing of course as I honestly don't care as long as the game itself is interesting in other ways be that via story, art, subject matter. This is an impressive next gen game by any platforms standards.
What I mean is Halo 3 plays like halo 2 despite its additions, but we don't have a problem with that it's what we all expected after all. The story playing out differently is more than enough to satisfy me. Even Blue Dragon or Lost Odyssey are more next gen in terms of graphics than anything else, but again I'm totally fine with that. Mass Effect is next gen to me in terms of the very cool conversation system.
I think AC is i,n its design, very forward thinking in a lot of ways.
