Didn't Dyack say that they are already working on TH2 though?

I know that they have that LOTR release in their heads were they are making the trilogy after each other but wont release it until each one sells good and have a good gap between them.

Denis said the other games will definitely release much faster than the first and yea when shane and the guy went up there last time they saw them working on Too Human 2 as well so its pretty far along especially with the delay.

Maybe thats why it takes so much time for Too Human time to get released, because they have to see what is going to be in TH 1 so they can figure out what to do with TH2, considering that TH2 is coming out faster than usual sequal titles.

I just hope that once TH is out, there is a huge gap between TH and TH2 so we can enjoy TH to the fullest, get everything, customize our character...etc. so when TH2 comes out, the majority have really awesome stuff going on so we can continue the story, the newer items, armor...etc. gonna be bad ass!

Reminds me of how they are gonna do with Mass Effect, carry your first character through the entire trilogy :D

So it would seem that during his trip to SK, Shane was somehow brainwashed or bribed with goodies(like that SK shirt!). Well played MS and DD!


overall pretty good preview, he makes it pretty hard not to like him when he shows that much passion for his work.


Also, good on Shane for sporting the Bape cap :p

Well think about it. You are just going deeper into it. So you are not the only one who thinks that way eh? Nice.

The stupid part of it is this. Basically, I remind you of Shane. I'm not the most hated only because I have shown some "good sides". Oh but wait a minute, what are these good sides you talk about? Well, it has to be things we agreed upon. Yup, that must be it 'cause that's all you know about me, my opinion on games.

So in other words, you hate that I don't agree with you, you hate people who don't praise the games you do, you just don't like them! Nasty! But yeah, if they agree with you, yup, they are good it's all cool.

That's just dumb however you put it. Optimus thought Shane was a disgrace, a fanboy, his opinion is just laughable. But this was back then in the Blue Dragon days. Now things are different, and I sense that Shane is now a cool guy from his perspective (and probably yours since you got into this converstation). Now his opinion is very respected, very believable, he's got the facts. "Shane said"....."and he thought".......He was very surprised and so I should be.

That's wrong on so many levels.

It only makes sense that TH 2 would come out sooner, since the ground work would have been laid in TH1. Who knows, maybe they will have refined the combat and animation by TH 2 as well.

Well Dyack did say that they know exactly whats up with the entire trilogy, so it might come sooner, but I hope not.

I want to make my character as good as possible for the second game.

And yeah who knows, Dyack might even tune the animations for the second installment, if god willing :P

Great, you should have thought about that before.

Anyways. If this game has something I'm confident about is the story. It seems to be one of the few things they haven't gone back and forth with, or at least hasn't been a problem like much everything else.

I wonder why people are concerned so much by animations in this game, Mass Effect or Metal Gear Solid 4 have animations that don't look natural either and people are giving these games a free pass for that aspect. I like when a game is gratly animated but it's never been a deal breaker for me when it's not good.

Well Lost Planet have very good animations, how about that mister :)

Besides, not a good way to compare MGS4, Mass Effect nor Lost Planet to Too Human...not in the same, eh...type? genre?..I guess style of game in general should be it.

Yes, but TH's animations are jarring, even ME and MGS's animations arent like that, but your right, its not a deal breaker for me either.

Dyack needs to hire some japanese dev from a past gaming development to make the animation.

Anyway, I see the vision Dyack is seeing for this game, and I understand him completely...I think its a rare gift, some have it, some don't.

But animation in such a big game as Too Human as far as RPG elements go, I can let it go, always could.

But when I want to play like a true 3rd person action game, I will go and play DMC4 and later on NG 2.

Well there's plenty of top quality western animators too Sath, im not saying Japan is the only place that has good animation. I think its maybe the execution of the combat system and animation is a bit off, and in the cutscenes like the one with Baldur in the bar being attacked by that Robo-ogre thing. But the game still has a way's to go, so im keeping hopeful. :)

Well I do agree that there are top notch animators besides Japan, but Dyack should hire someone that he knows and been working with in previous projects to do his animation for Too Human.

But I would feel sorry for the guy who is doing the animation right now :P

The point isn't about genre - a game has either good or bad animations. All 3 games I listed don't have good animations yet 2 of them don't get a massive hate as the third one because of that.

I don't think Too Human will be an ideal game, but right now I have my fingers crossed for 3 things: stable framerate in cutscenes, great story and pure fun factor.

Yeah I know, but World of Warcraft doesn't have exactly great animations either you know, and look how well that game is doing with all the item gathering, customizing...etc stuff going on.

And I gotta say, I am with you on this one, with the 3 factors.

Screen tearing, great story (which I dont doubt it will have) and the fun factor to keep me going and going to reach to max.
