Awesome. I almost bought TW2, but Risen weekend steam deal came up and i got it, been wanting to play it since launch. Really liking it.

After i'm done with Risen, might buy TW2. It's getting good reviews, and the impressions have been very good! Very impressed for what they done. Big leap in quality it seems :)

Yeah, it's amazing the difference between the hobbit balls that was the first one and the sequel. It's always nice when a sequel actually improves over the original. TWII did it, but then again, the first one was so bad they couldn't go anywhere but up :P

Hopefully, TW2 does the same. Everything I've seen looks good, so I have no doubt it will at least be enjoyable.

I don't know what kind of DRM may or may not be in other releases, but none sure sounds better than some.

I think this is great. There's stuff for everyone.

Steam version, cloud saves, achievments. GoG version, DRM free and filled with extras and free game, and there's the awesome retail packages.

Still no news what kind of DRM, retail game will have though.

Yep, it's all part of CD Projekt the big company. Englobes developers of Witcher, GoG store etc.

Yeah, I think I'll go for the GOG version, if they decide to accept my credit card.
Last time I tried to make a purchase there I kept getting a page telling they couldn't process the card.

A box copy would be neat, but I don't want to pass up the free games and DRM freeness (plus I'm running out of room for stuff).
I guess there's always cracks, but blah.
