Since 7446 DaysThough its obvious the player was giving open arms to get hit by the enemy a few times.
The difficulty seems to be NG2/NGS2. Its more based on damage and grabs than its on AI and attack behavior.
Remember in NG1 were in Harder modes the level 1 had ninjas coming with flaming swords, they changed it up on weapons AND character design, here, not so much.

The MP is...decent, I dont know what to think of it really.
Stuff I liked is customization, the chaotic ninja action and the old ninpos is brought back such as Piercing Void.
It will be extremely difficult to the newcomers to play this considering veterans knows every single move and are pretty much Fiend Ryu (Ninja Gaiden 1) level at this point.
Alot of blocks and dodges with invincible frames to advantage then the most damaging moves.
I have no idea how they will balance it but I hope it works out.
In the end, it reminds me of Tenchu Senran but with super ninjas with NG3 combat.
If MP worked for AC, it may work for NG.
Can't say much else about it really.
Since 7446 DaysIGN livestream confirmed new stuff that made my heart stop, felt like watching a live execution.
One ninpo style throughout the entire game, and that is the dragon we seen all along, nothing more.
No more unlockable outfits because "we have to get used to it" and the weapon upgrades is through story and not credits/orbs.
This game is in serious bad shape, its garbage beyond repair.
Its just hard to see my favorite gaming franchise to die like this and I have been a hardcore fan since NES. NG series has always been a game I always looked forward and be able to play as Ryu in a new adventure, but this is extremely bad, and I am using light words here.

Since 6583 DaysI watched the video on the new level and I'm sure the animations also look a bit off to me. The game has taken to many steps backward imo to cater to a broader audience.
I dunno I will have to play the demo when it comes out but I don't like what I'm seeing so far and it really doesn't warrant a day one buy for atm.

No more pre-planned combos because of the SoB will happen randomly.
No more shops, so no more items, inventory, weapon upgrades.
Swords only, and only throughout the storyplot you gain new combos and new swords.
You unlock nothing but a New Game+ which is useless with these new changes.
There is only 3 maps in multiplayer mode on disc (and I thought COD was bad).
No more unique outfits on harder difficulties. We are stuck with his ugly necromancer tights.
No more Mission Mode/Challenge Mode
Hard mode means spamming grabs and spamming rockets.
Enemies are still much more faster and agile than Ryu as usual.
Only humanized enemies now. So no more fiends, ancient ruins and temples, underworld...etc. the GOOD stuff that made NG levels and enemy vary.
Ryu is now a japanese Jack Bauer. He works for an agent company.

SoB looks good when it doesnt happen frequently.
Some new basic sword attacks is nice.

Look how much bad outweights the good one.
They practically is selling a broken game with less content than NG2 and thats ALOT.
I though NG2 was lacking content but this is just a joke of a product.
