I'm not buying this cause i'm not sure about some things..

Is every quest "doable" in solo or some needs party ?
I can't see why i have to party with other ppls if i can beat the game alone..
(i like to play WITH ppls anyway) ... but.. uhm.. want a game in where i need a party for some Raids and so on... and not just reapeating old quest in party with "just" more mobs on screen and more loot :\ maybe this is just me..

No quest needs CoOp the game gets "harder" when people join

in CoOp the game cranks up the enemy health bars and dmg received tenfold, the butcher was a dick on 4 player.

I think i might have to walk away from this one i feel my addiction seeping in, first day away from it and already twitching lol

Also demon hunter is shit
the monk (not tried, heard good things about it been TOTALLY OP!)
witch doctor is just so fucking boring.. *spit..spit...spit...spit* you have leveled ..thank fuck spitting was annoying *throw pot, throw pot, throw pot... the hideousness of this noise is just unbearable..

But why cant we just have basic attack like diablo 1-2 why does every move have to be over the top spells? with over the top sound effects for instance CLEAVE CLEAVE CLEAVE CLEAVE CLEAVE CLEAVE... the noise of the *thoomp* gets tiresome to the degree of me almost muting the battle noises.

Yet with everything that annoys me about it... i still yet twitch.

Okay, so basically:

1) I agree with Grift in that, as a consumer, you should know a sufficient amount about a product before you actually buy it. I mean, why wouldn't you? It doesn't matter whether you're a 'hardcore' player or a 'casual', it's still common sense to know as much about a product (without spoiling it) before you decide to invest in it.

2) However, I don't think that changes the fact that only-online play is SHIT. It's such a stupid idea that is quite obviously trying to cater to modern preoccupations whereby the internet rules all. It doesn't even work in theory, and in practice it's even worse.

3) But that's not the primary reason not to get the game. For a title coming out some 11 years after its predecessor, you'd think it'd look A LOT better than it does. Add to this the seemingly simple and stripped back progression mechanics (so I've heard), and all in all it doesn't sound like a full price purchase.

As someone who absolutely loves Diablo 1 & 2, it's sad to see this being nothing like the game people were hoping it'd be.

i am big D2 fan-boy, this game fails hard for me, there is nothing there anymore that made me love d2 - just blizzard normal epic cutscenes/story and there world of Warcraft gameplay...

i will stick to path of exile, torchlight and grim dawn for my fix

I played the beta and saw NOTHING special about this game. It was a bit of a turn off, and also looked like something from 2005.

As I said earlier, it doesn't feel like the game has seem up to date. If this were to have come out in the ps2 era, then it would be something awesome, but compared to today's standards it feels like a live arcade title. I'll probably pick it up when it hits $30.

Sure, it's a little bit of the game and perhaps the worst bit, but it'd have to become a completely different game after the skeleton king to have a big impact on my opinion. People keep implying that you can't have an opinion about Diablo until you've finished it like 8 times or something. The beta was enough for me to know that I don't really like the core systems at all. Apart from the production values and story, it feels no more like an authentic sequel to Diablo than any number of other (and older) Diablo clones.

Comparing this to Mass Effect 2 seems ridiculous to me. It's more like comparing KOTOR to Mass Effect, except that's also a horrible comparison ;)

Driftwood Comme avec Black Flag, qui ne reprend pas le système RPG des derniers AC, ni même leur approche du combat. Ils ont retravaillé le tout mais sans trahir l'intention de base. (il y a 1 Heure)
Driftwood @Blackninja: ils vont forcément refaire le monde entièrement pour qu'il soit plus grand et plus intéressant à explorer. Il y aura donc des ajouts mais pas de modification de l'esprit du jeu. (il y a 1 Heure)
