I would say it's ok but I don't really see the point in getting one for now considering most games that do show some improvements came out quite a while ago and most people have already completed them. It's also disappointing to see that some patches can sometimes make some games look worse (Black Ops 6 and Silent Hill 2 for instance). I think the console should have come out with at least one new game that takes advantage of it (first or third party). AC Shadows could have been it, but it was delayed. The new Monster Hunter might be it, but it won't be there until late February. Not even the LEGO Horizon game was patched. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the enhanced image quality on some games like Dying Light 2, Dead Island 2, Lords of the Fallen or even Dragon's Dogma (not really counting the Sony exclusives as I think they already had excellent IQ on base PS5), but I own them on PC too (bought the first two a while ago and was sent a code for DG2). So if you ask me, the Pro came out too soon as it needs ne games to show off its potential. Also, maybe PSSR would have been more capable of handling image reconstruction if it had been given a bit more time? In FFVII Rebirth it's quite impressive, but mainly because what SE did with the game's image quality originally was truly bad.
