Cool demo, only found one good match. I was a Mercenary. It was fun, got in first place for killing all those Spies :). If I could've found more matches, it might've been a buy, but I don't know whether it was the demo, the lack of people playing, or the poor netcode, but I'm gonna have to rent this to be safe.
Give it time the demo has only been up just recently. Jeez, can you believe people, nowadays.

Well excuuuuse me. I figure enough people on my friendslist telling me that they've been kicked out of multiple games for no reason is an indicator that the case isn't just because its been up for a few hours...Otherwise its a fun game.

It does have some issues, but it's good fun..pretty enjoyable demo imo, definitly looking forward to playing the final more now.

I've never really cared for the MP in Splinter Cell, I'll be picking it up for the single player though.

Man! another MP game, Like Bloodforge said MP isn't really SC's strong point, they should have released a real demo.

I say this because im generally crap at MP :P so i don't enjoy getting my ass kicked all the time.

The game itself is awesome, but the demo sucks. I can rarely get into a game, and once I finally do there is often lag. It's a really fun demo, but these issues need to be worked out by release or I won't buy it.

And trust me, I really want to buy it.

Graphics are average at best, framerate is ok, there's lots of lag, and that level just sucks........it's IMPOSSIBLE to see the spys damn it!

Really, it is fun, but the game has some strong issues. I don't remember killing a spy was that hard in Chaos Theory, and why do we have thermal vision WHEN IT DOESN"T EVEN WORK! I often see a spy, an outline surrounds him for a second, I shoot him, the outline dissapears and he's no longer visible, turn on the flashlight? NO, that doesn't work.

I don't know, I don't remember the MP having this problem at all in Chaos, so that sucks.

Yeah, this demo is gimped. I haven't been able to get into one match because it continually searches for open servers, never actually finding them.

I always choose quick match, searches, finds, connects to one. Everything good, but after about 2 seconds I get disconnected, and this happens over and over until I'm able to find a good server.

Anyways, this was yesterday, did anyone else have a more than usual amount of friends connected to Live?

Wrong. Splinter Cell was the first game in a while to come up with an original, intense, and fun multiplayer mode. Anyone who played the other ones and didn't suck knows it.

Good god! I can see complaining about getting into games...as I've been swearing like a bastard trying to get into more than 1 every couple of hours. Trying to complain about problems that don't exist though...that's so retarded.

The first time i downloaded SC, i found a game all the time i tried.
I then tried at 1 am yesterday, jeez i got booted so many times. (i think it was about 7pm in the states)

This booting must be due to super packed servers.

im gonna play again in a sec anyway.

That makes no sense. You said it was hard, and now you say it's easy? Unless you are now saying that you killed spies easily in Chaos Theory, which I'd believe...seeing as how the spies were slower, you had mines and spy traps, there were alarms everywhere, and there was a noob-tube shotgun that i'm sure you were just in love with.

Either way, that doesn't excuse your being a weeping vagina about problems that just aren't there.

I didn't mean for that to happen. I've always loved the mp in Splinter Cell, and I'm greatly looking forward to this. It has changed, but people need to give it a chance. More specifically, they need to give the final version a chance, as I'm sure it'll work much better than this demo does.

However, if someone says that thermal vision doesn't work, and I tell them they're wrong...you know...because the thermal vision works just fine, and I get insulted because of it...fuck that. Lebato and other 12 year olds like him are what ruin online games.
