Summer Game Fest 2026

Maybe I'm oldschool but this was boring to me (frustrating at times when audio sync occurred), many too similar games style/setting wise and the ones looked interesting showed very little. I want the old times when a person comes on the stage with a controller and plays the game for 8-15 mins because these cinematic trailers are doing very little to me. In the past few years I've skipped many games due to this simple because I forgot about them and just accidentally years later I discovered some of them by seeing actual gameplay that I'm actually interested so I might be the minority but if I don't actually see a several minutes gameplay I'm not that hooked if it is a new IP, if a sequel does this then fine because obviously I have an idea what to expect.
Geoff is really going for the quantity not quality reveals and I think that it is a problem for me, I can't process like 50 game announcements.
Anyway, this is likely a me problem because if not bots are commenting at the Reddit posts then most people were happy about the show.
