Where's the Crackdown love?

It was so fun that I started over on Psychotic just for the experience. Hell if I'm going to play it might as well have my first play through be as hard as possible.

Their aim is much better and they drop your shield and hp much faster. You gotta be really strategic with most things or your dead.

Well, supposedly you can change the difficulty at any time. Basically, when selecting your agent you change the difficulty, much like in Gears of War.

And from what people have been telling me at the Crackdown site, it's not possible to play it again with your agent leveled up which sucks to be honest. Supposedly, you can reload the gang, but there's no way to reload the bosses (essentially play the game again)........which again, sucks. Bosses are fun. And I don't know how to reload the gang, but people did mention that several times.

Maxed out my strength and agility. Gonna work on my driving next. My friend is maxed out on everything, when we choose separate spawn points, he drives over to pick me up, and he's got the level 4 supercar! Looks bad ass! It looks like the Batmobile, and its got guns. Daammn!

Gotta start running over people. I wish I'd ran over more Los Muertos. They don't throw grenades or shoot rockets. Gotta find a way to go back in time!

Suprising me how quickly people are leveling up their avatars, guess I won't have to grind for too long to catch up once I get my copy. Looks awesome, looks better than the demo. Hopefully my roommate can pry himself away from it for a while, so that I might be able to give it a proper go.

Yeah, but believe me, I've played for about 6 hours and I'm nowhere near maxed out. Some of my abilities are still at 2 stars and none at 4 stars, much less "maxed out". What I'm trying to tell you is that people that have everything maxed out have played the game "too much".

I'm just going off of how my friends are progressing so far, mostly my roommate, since I can see that first hand. I'm not sure how long he's played so far (probably more than six hours) but he's got most of his skills ~level 2 and a couple at level 3 already. Not maxed out--but a good start.

What, four stars isn't the limit? That's news to me. Hey, this game is like Crack, I just can't put it down

I'm finding a lot easier to gain driving points by running fools over. I'd say I'd have to run over 40 more of them before I'm a level 4. If anyone still has some Los Muertos henchmen around, send me a friend request. I need to run over those suckas! I can also help you defeat the bosses and what not. I'll just throw my car to wherever they are, and run them over =P.

And one weird thing happened. I gained the mad bomber achievement last night, but I died or something after I got it. It said "Achievement Unlocked" but I have no record of getting it on Xbox.com. My gamescore was 19260 on my 360 last time I checked, but its a measly 19245 on Xbox.com now. That's the first time I've had an achievement taken back.

The limit in terms of stars is 4. But when you get to 4 stars you can also level up the rest of it and you get a "--" (dash dash) instead of stars, which means you have reached the max for that skill.

I don't have Los Muertos around anymore. They are muertos now.

I see what you did there. The Dead are now...dead. I don't speak German and I figured that out.

And no go on a replay with suped powers. You can start a co-op mode with Random Crime. Brings back all the bad guys just not the bosses.

Blue Dragon is an unimaginative JRPG featuring a myriad of JRPG cliches and very redundant looking characters. To even call this game "original" in any way is an insult to every great JRPG made.......all 4 of 'em......

Got the game (finally) and love the game.

Though it seems that the retail version is actually buggier than the demo version, I've also seen a lot more pop-up's (especially cars) than in the demo version, or maybe I'm just imagining this.

Just messing about, exploring, searching etc. is so much fun, this game can certainly keep me entertained for a while.
However, I still feel they could've done so much more with this game to make it appeal to a wider range of gamers.

I still miss some kind of mission structure, though I fully reckognize it isn't what this game's about, but it's always nice to have a choice: 'dick around or follow the main story.'

Too bad the reviews reflect this, with a decent mission structure and some more varried side-missions, this game could've gotten an average 9 - 9.5 I reckon.
It's also pretty disturbing seeing the reviewers completely overlooking things like the solid performance, which is a HUGE deal to me but apparantly not to the reviewers.
Also, most of them say it's amazingly fun and they had a great time with the game, but it's lacking. as if having FUN in a game these days is just a unsignificant "side-factor" or something.

Oh what the hell, I'm having fun with it and Crackdown 2 is on it's way...It's all good..! :)

I'd get in the supercab and just ram them. The supercar is amazing at level 4. Its the best way to max out your firearms. Feels like Spy Hunter.

They were hard for me. Me and my friend played co-op to take them down. He was a maxed out agent, and I was level 4. They love those damned rocket launchers. We ended up just running through the place.


So far I only have 11 agility orbs and 120 or so hidden orbs. I climbed to the top of the agency tower with a sniper rifle to try to see them. But you have to be close to orbs or they wont appear. Dang.
