Announced for the Nintendo console a few months ago, Bloober Team's cyberpunk horror game >observer_ will launch soon the developer revealed today. A new explanatory video is here to put you back in the title's atmosphere.
We have already showed some videos of the PC version of >observer_ and here is the PS4 version on Gamersyde. Two 1080P videos to discover the special atmosphere in the game from Bloober Team.
>observer_ is clearly another game to keep an eye on if you're into story-driven titles. Although we haven't played more than an hour and a half, we can say it's a pretty intense experience, the work on the atmosphere being really impressive. Sound design and voice acting are top notch, with Rutger Hauer playing the role of the main character, and the game world is both intriguing and spooky. After Layers of Fear, the Blooper Team seems to confirm their talent, with added gameplay mechanics to make the player more involved. Indeed, some sequences require to fully explore the environment looking for clues, while others allow to choose what Daniel Lazarski (the protagonist) will say to the NPCs he will meet.
Bloober Team, the creators of Layers of Fear, revealed recently that their new cyberpunk horror game >observer_ will hit PC, PS4 and Xbox One on August 15. In this psychological horror experience set in 2084, you control Daniel Lazarski (voiced by Rutger Hauer), a neural detective known as an Observer authorized to hack suspects' minds and what you will see might not be good for your psyche. All the trailers and screens released so far after the jump.
