A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead came out a few days ago and we have been able to play the first hours of the game since its release. It may not be as good as Alien Isolation but somehow we have had some good fun with it so far. We have two videos to share, none of them showing the beginning of the adventure. One is a tense section set at night in which our mic was on so the monsters could spot us even more easily and the second is a story-driven flashback. Please note that the long gameplay video is only available in its YouTube version as the file was too big to be uploaded to our servers.

Saber Interactive just released a new video for the upcoming A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead and the game seems a bit more ambitious than we expected considering its price tag (about $30/€30). To be honest, we didn't think there would me much of a story, so it's a nice surprise to see that the studio has apparently given the characters a lot of attention.

Soon after Silent Hill 2, another game will try to scare us to us, this time in a universe movie fans will be familiar with. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead will indeed get released on October 17 on PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X|S for €29.99/$29.99/£24.99. We're quite curious to see if the sound mechanic will be used to its full potential to make the experience immersive enough.

Contrary to many studios which have to be shutdown (like Pieces Interactive, terminated by Embracer Group because their Alone in the Dark didn't sell enough copies), Saber Interactive keeps releasing new games. After World War Z, The Evil Dead: The Game, SnowRunner and Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, and before Space Marine 2 and Jurassic Park Survival, they are working on A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. With the prequel movie coming out this end of June, it's no surprise to learn that the game will ship this year, though we don't know exactly when just yet.
