Get your doughnuts ready as Beat Cop, the adventure-strategy game set in a pixelated 1986 NYC is now available on PC.
Pixel Crow's Beat Cop is coming March 30th on PC and publisher 11 bit studios has released a video giving you 11 facts about the game that could put it under your radar if it wasn't already. 1980s NYC, you play as Jack Kelly, former detective who has been demoted after he's been framed for murder. You'll have to find the truth behind all this while not forgetting to write tickets.
More pixels on Gamersyde with the pre-alpha demo of Beat Cop we were sent yesterday. The art style is pretty neat but the gameplay mechanics may be a bit lacking at this stage, unless the developers manage to add more possibilities and variety to the mix. We certainly hope so as you don't get to play a regular police officer much in video games. Considering the game is still in development, there is still time to improve it, so we are still looking forward to seeing the final product. Provided the narrative aspect and the story are strong enough, there might be more than enough incentive to keep playing.
