Borderlands 3 next-gen update is now available, we took the opportunity to capture a gameplay video on Xbox Series X.
Stadia is available since the end of 2019 and if we had so far not really covered the news on Google's cloud gaming platform, we will today offer you a lot of video content for different games. All these videos were captured in 1440p via Chrome and we are starting with 8 videos, new ones will be available in the coming days.
Borderlands 3 is now out so we were finally able to record some gameplay footage this morning. Sadly, there seems to have been a sort of bug with the game as it was not running in 4K (full screen) as we had selected, but in an odd 2194*1234 resolution. That's why today's videos can't be streamed above 1080p. Rest assured that we'll add higher quality footage as soon as we can, but you should be aware that our RTX 2080 Ti cannot run the game at 60 fps in 4K when fully maxed out. We've found that lowering the volumetric fog setting to medium seems to do the trick, with minimum visual impact. We used DirectX 12 to record our footage but it's still in beta phase and it causes particularly long loading screens (launching the game takes forever), so you should probably stick to DirectX 11 for now.
Update: 4K video added. All graphics settings maxed out except for volumetric fog set to medium, but we still had a few drops here and there.
Better late than never, here is in great quality the trailer of Borderlands 3 released two weeks ago by Gearbox and 2K. The game will launch September 13.
Slowly but surely, some publishers realize that promoting games is not only about YouTube and image quality can also be important. Thus, we can finally give you the E3 trailer of the highly anticipated Borderlands 3, in all its 4K glory. As a nice little bonus, we've added 2 1080p gameplay videos and 2 screenshots to make up for the fact that we haven't sent anyone to L.A this year.
Borderlands 3 was also present during the Microsoft showcase with a new YouTube trailer. Release scheduled for September 13 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Update: screens added.
