After our preview coverage of the game on PC, the time has come for you to discover the console versions of EA Sports WRC. We were indeed lucky enough to be sent PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X copies, which both run at dynamic 4K with the high settings of the PC version. Enjoy the footage!

We don't always get invites to participate to previews anymore so when it happens, we're pretty happy, and even more so this time as it was for EA Sports WRC. After spending more than 10 hours on a non-final preview build, we have brought you back no less than 3 videos showing different stages and situations. Keep in mind that the game is not finished yet and so that it still requires a bit of optimization. Gameplay was recorded with a gamepad so console players can see what to expect but we also played the game with our 2017 CSL Elite and it worked very well (not to mention it added more precision to the steering when taking corners on asphalt). Sadly, we found no way to switch the copilot's language to English, even after launching the game in English.

Electronic Arts released a new video for the upcoming EA Sports WRC developed by Codemasters. This time we only get to see some real gameplay footage in different weather conditions, seasons and countries, which is a pretty nice idea. We are also shown various camera views so nobody feels left out.

There's no stopping Electronic Arts and Codemasters when it comes to EA Sports WRC. Indeed, a new video has been released today, this time focusing on some of the unique features we can expect from this new rally game. If you're anything like us, you must be pretty impatient to try the game, but until then, here's the latest official video.

EA Sports WRC is back with a new official video in which we are shown what to expect in terms of content and gameplay. Visually speaking, the game seems to look very similar to DIRT Rally 2.0 despite the passage to Unreal Engine. Compared to the previous games developed by Kylotonn, it looks less colorful and there's no huge graphical leap from what we can see. That said, with Codemasters behind the wheel, e at least can be sure that the physics ans the driving sensations will be top notch.

Now that the WRC franchise is in the hands of Electronic Arts, Codemasters' upcoming game will simply be entitled EA Sports WRC. If you preorder it, you will be able to play it on October 31, a few days before its official launch on November 3. Inside, you will find the game's first trailer (in its YouTube version sadly) as well as a bunch of screenshots.
