The last DLC for Far Cry 5, Dead Living Zombies, pairs you with director Guy Marvel who has a plan for an epic zombie saga. The player ends up exploring seven differents scenarios with maps built from the Far Cry Aracade editor. A new update rolling out today brings New Game +, destructible objects and the scripting tool for the map editor.

Nick Rye and Hurk travel to the Red Planet in Lost on Mars, the second DLC for Far Cry 5. Both try in this new scifi adventure to restore ANNE, a futuristic AI and humanity's last defense. To face properly the planet's arachnids, players have an alien weaponry at their disposal. New screens and trailer inside.

We don't know yet if Hours of Darkness will get very exciting after a few hours, but the very beginning is quite the opposite actually. Liberating camps or prisoners is getting old after so many games in the series, and though it makes sense in the context of the Vietnam war, it's made even less interesting thanks to the blind AI. Hours of Darkness, the first post-launch adventure for Far Cry 5 is now available. Set during the Vietnam War, the DLC puts players in the shoes of Hope County's Wendell "Red" Redler, who is on a mission to rescue his squad members.

Hours of Darkness, the first post-launch DLC for Far Cry 5 will transport players back in time to a war-torn Vietnam where they will play as Wendell "Red" Redler. Alone or in cooperation, the goal will be to rescue squad mates imprisoned in a dangerous jungle. First teaser inside, the content will be made available on June 5.

Choosing a release date has always been a strategic choice and Ubisoft has proven it once again. Far Cry 5 is now the fastest selling game in the franchise history, which bodes well for the future of the series. Because we didn't have time to do it before, here are 4 environment videos recorded on PC (4K/ultra) to celebrate the publisher's success.

As promised, here is our coverage of Far Cry 5 on Xbox One X, recorded in 4K once again. The videos show things we included in our previous footage for those who like comparisons but we've also added a short tour of the whole map seen from above in two of them. Enjoy!

We should be able to show you some Xbox One X footage of Far Cry 5 soon, but for now, we have a bunch of videos we recorded on PC with our GTX 1080 Ti. The videos are in 4K but we played the game with a 0.8 resolution scaling to maintain a steady framerate without lowering the graphics settings. There are still LOD issues as you'll see, which makes us think it's either a choice of the developers or a limitation of the engine itself. Check out the videos and let us know what you think.
