The new extension for Forza Horizon 4 was not even announced a week ago and it is now available to all who have paid for it. Once gotten used to the strange combination of Forza physics in a LEGO world, it's a very enjoyable title to play. Not only is it very colorful but it is also the most impressive looking LEGO game to date. It's just a bit of a shame that races do not only feature LEGO cars and that we've noticed a bunch of pop-up issues we hadn't seen before in the main game. Maybe it's just us though. Check out our PC videos of this new content, in glorious 4K/60fps.
Since the Hot Wheels Extension which came out for Forza Horizon 3, we all knew that Microsoft and Playground Games were still big children who liked their toys. It was no wonder then to see the confirmation of one of the leaks we heard about last week, the arrival of the LEGO universe in Forza Horizon 4. This new content will be available on June 13, but until we can propose a bunch of super high quality videos, how about he YouTube trailer?
Forza Horizon 4 was recently updated to add a brand new island and a bunch of cars. Fortune Island is rather small but it's a wild place with curvy roads and beautiful aurorea and lightning storms. Here is a quick look at the place on PC.
Note: All videos were recorded as the game was running in 1800p.
Forza Horizon 4 may be very similar to the previous episodes, its UK setting is a lot more to our liking for some reason. As you'll see in our verdict when it's ready in English (maybe later today), there is still plenty to love in this new installment in the series, something you may have noticed in our latest coverage of the game. Sadly we didn't have the time to prepare the summer video we were hoping to do in time, but as you are reading this, I'm probably just out of surgery so it's not like I had much of a choice. Don't worry though, we have some brand new 4K HDR content recorded on PC to share if you've seen the rest of our footage, and we'll probably post a few more videos later this week when I'm back on my feet.
Update: Verdict added.
Autumn is the second to last season we want to present you in Forza Horizon 4, once again with the most incredible audio commentary you have ever heard. Hopefully it won't prevent you from appreciating the impressive beauty of the British landscapes in the Fall. Enjoy!
Note: Like in our previous video coverage, the footage was recorded in 4K/60fps on PC with all graphics settings maxed out and MSAA2x. This time we also activated MFAA in the Nvidia panel.
Hopefully you haven't had enough of Forza Horizon 4 footage, as we have just prepared another high quality video of the PC version of the game running in 4K/60fps. This time, we're focusing on the spring season, which obviously offers more colorful and greener landscapes than winter. Again, the video includes an audio commentary which was recorded in an absolutely freestyle way. Enjoy!
Here is the second part of our Forza Horizon 4 coverage with the replay of yesterday's livestream. The English stream remained stuck in Winter but if you don't mind our barbaric native language, Spring invited itself in the game during the French live. Before you watch, remember that the recording quality is that of Twitch, so expect heavy compression because we were streaming at 60 fps.
Today we're starting our video coverage of Forza Horizon 4, here in its PC version running in 4K with all graphics options maxed out (some settings having been pushed to extreme) and MSAA 2x. As usual now, we were forced to add a commentary to the footage we captured, so you'll have to listen to me once again. We're not giving you our opinion on the game yet though, simply talking about the visuals and some of the new features. We'll be live tonight to present you the game starting at 9 CET if you want to see/know more.
Forza Horizon 4 demo allowed us to capture the game on Xbox One X in 4K HDR, we selected the Quality mode in the game.
