We already talked about Kholat, released on PC last year and developed by IMGN.PRO. The game is now coming on PS4 and although the Unreal Engine 4 have few problems of fluidity, those issues are quite uncommon and the general atmosphere does not suffer from the passage on console. So here are 4 videos to soak up the very elaborate atmosphere of Kholat. We remind you we livestreamed the PC version of the game back when it was released in case you need more information.
If our direct feed videos have not been enough to convince you, how about you take 30 minutes to listen to our two charming voices in this replay of our livestream dedicated to Kholat. To find out more about the game and its gameplay mechanics, and even more importantly to know our verdict, you know what to do.
We've been following Kholat for quite a while and it will release next week on PC. We were lucky to be sent a review code for the game so we can propose you a bunch of 1080p/60fps video of what is really a mix between an exploration game and a Slender-like, in that you have to hide and/or run away from a deadly entity that is chasing you in the mountains. As you'll see, the game is very atmospheric thanks to quite impressive visuals (it is undeniably the first UE4 game to give us a good idea of what the engine can do) and a very solid soundtrack featuring Sean Bean as the narrator. We remind you that IMG.PRO's title is based on a true story which happened in Russia and could never be rationally explained. If you want to see what the game looks like in motion, check out our videos, if you want to know what we think about it, join us tonight at 10:30 CEST for a new GSY Live.
We've been talking about Kholat since last October and IMGN.PRO's adventure game will soon be available to us all. Until June 10 arrives, here is the 1080p/60fps launch trailer of the game.

IMGN.PRO has put online the first (pre-alpha) gameplay trailer of Kholat, the studio's UE4-powered adventure-horror game due to release in Q1 2015. The title is inspired by the Dyatlov Pass incident where students on expedition mysteriously died in the Ural mountains and players are thrown into the open world area years after the tragedy. It features exploration, non-linear gameplay, fear management system and an atmosphere relying on anxiety and dreadfulness.
