Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered is now out and so are our PC videos of the two cult classics from the PlayStation 1 and 2 era. Aspyr has once again done a very good job regarding the graphics update but we've been less impressed than with the original Tomb Raider trilogy overall, especially when comparing the two versions of the second game, which came out on PS2, so probably required a bit less work. Character models have been greatly improved, but the lighting seems pretty similar and when compared with the massive bump in quality in the Tomb Raider trilogy of last year, it's not as big of a change. Still, this collection is undoubtedly the best way to enjoy the two games today, even more so as it comes with some bonus content which should please the fans.
