Last year, the games published by Microïds mostly disappointed us, except maybe for their Smurfs games, which was ok for children overall. This year, The Smurfs - Dreams sets the bar much higher with a co-op platformer which is a joy to play with a kid. I had a blast playing with my eight-year-old daughter because it actually does not take children for granted. There is variety, there are a few surprises, it plays very well and on top of that, it looks pretty good for a game that is definitely not AAA. If you're looking for a nice co-op game to share with your kids, you could do a lot worse this year!
