RAZurrection sent me this very interesting video showing some non officially compatible Xbox games running on Xbox 360, with more or less bugs. His method was simple, simply trying the OXM demo discs who all launch directly. Looking at this, I'd say the compatibility list could be much larger very quickly.

I've finally received some new games to take a look at, so it's with great pleasure that I present you this "First 10 minutes" of Mercenaries. The game is certainly not the greatest ever, but any action fan should really give it a try. A very nice mix of the freedom of GTA with a much denser action.

Taking place in a near future, Mercenaries wants to be a kind of extreme action packed game, plus a good ladle of GTA for the freedom of gameplay. Mmm... I don't know if such a cocktail can make a good game, and I don't think this orphan screenshot will tell us a lot more about it, but it doesn't really matter because one thing is absolutely sure: Mercenaries will be too much or will not be.

Lucasarts just updated the official site of Mercenaries with all these images and artworks. This is one game I'd really much like to play before making the decision to buy it or not. Could be awesome, could be quite bad.

Now that Halo 2 is finally released it seems that the publishers don't fear showing their war games anymore. So it's Mercenaries turn, with this quite nice and brutal trailer. This game was quite low in my list after seeing some disapointing images, but this trailer make it seem quite a bit nicer than expected.

Mercenaries will be the final game screens update for the moment. Nothing much to say anyway ;)

Lucasarts annouced today that they would publish Mercenaries, Pandemic Studio's newest game. We get to control a group of Mercenaries in 3rd person view and try to stop a group of terrorists before the detonate a nuclear bomb. The main sale point of the game seems to be the usage of the Havok 2.0 physics engine. And to think they canceled Sam & Max 2...
