After our videos from the PS4 version, here is some gameplay footage of Murdered: Soul Suspect on Xbox One, captured during the first 20 minutes of the game. Unfortunately, an unstable frame rate can be seen sometimes despite the fact that the game is supposedly locked at 30 fps.

When Murdered: Soul Suspect was first announced, it was pretty promising in terms of gameplay mechanics. Alas, it turns out Airtight Games' title is very limited in that everything is very scripted and there is no challenge at all in solving the different puzzles. To make it worse, making mistakes is never punishing since you can just try again by selecting other clues to finish the ongoing investigation. Add to that the dated visuals, the laughable cat sequences and the lack of overall polish, and you'll understand that it's not easy to dive into the game's world. That being said, the game sill has its moments, as characters and story are quite interesting, thanks to the good voice acting. The problem is that thet game's price tag just isn't right.
