Small bow in images today for Okami in its Nintendo Wii incarnation. I do not know what's up, but the overall quality seems underwhelming when compared to its Playstation 2 counterpart. Writing about this game makes me sad, because I know that even if many copies sell, it will not bring back Clover Studios. Go, let us cry on its grave.
Update: Added 2 gameplay videos.
A true surprise during the Gamers Day 2007 from Capcom, the announcement of an Okami port from developer Ready at Dawn for the Nintendo Wii shows himself through these artworks. The legend of god-wolf Amaterasu, with low sales on the Playstation 2, will have a second chance to howl using the Wiimote. With its movements, the penmanship with brushes, an essential element of the game, will be used with more immersion. Planned for 2008.
Our friend Bebpo sent me this gamplay video from the japanese version of Okami. It's incredibly beautiful, and the gameplay seems as fresh as the graphics. Can't wait to play a localized version.
Capcom and Clover Studios updated the official site of Okami with these new images and a trailer painfully converted from a flash video with a slight sound desynch. As always, this looks awesome.
The beautiful game from Clover Studio is finally back with this trailer released at the TGS, now in high resolution.
This trailer really impressed me when I saw it in medium quality a few days ago, but this very high quality version is really even more beautiful. I still have no idea what this is all about but who cares ?
