After spending two evenings in a row playing Ori and the Blind Forest, after successfully progressing through the game once our two livestreams were finished, we can say that we have completely fallen under the game's spell. You'll need a bit of dexterity and patience to overcome some passages, but the feeling of satisfaction when you succeed is definitely worth it. Since we got our Xbox One copy of Ori and the Blind Forest yesterday at around 5 p.m., we haven't had time to play much to tell you what we think about it. What we can say for sure is that developer Moon Studios can be proud of their game's presentation and gameplay mechanics. Controls are very responsive and you'll be thankful when faced with the challenging sequences we've seen so far. Microsoft has relvealed that Ori and the Blind Forest will hit Xbox One and PC on March 11th. It will cost $19.99 and the Xbox 360 version will be out later this year.

Founded by former Cinematic Artist at Blizzard, Moon Studios reveals Ori and the Blind Forest. The title is an action-adventure platformer with beautiful visuals. You have to help Ori, the last spirit guardian, to save the blind forest while combating Kuro and completing in-game puzzles with exploratory gameplay and emotional narrative. It will be out this Fall on Xbox One and PC, Xbox 360 version TBD.
