After an apology from the dev team and several updates since its official release, Project Motor Racing is still not performing well on the various platforms it has been released on, particularly Xbox Series X. Framerate is clearly not smooth enough for a racing game, even less so when you consider the rather mediocre graphics, and AI issues are still present tofay (although things have improved,it's not a big surprise that AI should be so weak after Project CARS 2). These are the first two problems that stand out when launching the game, which is a shame because the handling is pretty good overall with a controller (a welcome change after PCARS 2) and the engine sounds are mostly quite good. The game was clearly released too early, and rather than issuing a letter of apology after it came out, the studio should perhaps have been more transparent before letting players put their money down. Yes, we know, that's not how the industry works...
