After being released on Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, Resident Evil: Revelations arrives on PS4 and Xbox One, in case a few people out there haven't played it yet. Check out our 4 videos, but don't expect much in terms of technical improvements.
A smoother resolution, a better framerate, more environment details, and refined movements, this is what Capcom says you can expect from the new version of Resident Evil: Revelations that will hit PS4 and Xbox One on August 29. Both this game and Resident Evil Revelations 2 will hit Switch later this year.
After a 3DS release, Resident Evil: Revelations is back on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in its best HD suit. We were able to play through the PC version of the game and captured a bunch of 1080p videos for you guys. Of course, you can't expect a 3DS port to look on par with titles such as Metro Last Light or Battlefield 3, but the developers have done a pretty good job overall. The controls are still a bit clunky but this episode is actually a lot less frustrating than Resident Evil 6 and it is also very reminiscent of the first games of the series, which is nice. The chapters set on board the Queen Zenobia are by far the most interesting ones and they actually make this new adventure worth playing. Our only problem with the game is its price tag, which will clearly keep players away until it eventually drops.
