Sable should now be available to all but since we were sent a code a bit early, we were able to capture a presentation video in 4K. We've now been playing Shedworks' title for something like 8 hours and we haven't changed our mind since we recorded the following GSY Offline a few days ago. Just like last year, June will give us the opportunity to try out a bunch of indie demos. We started with Sable, which still needs some work before it can be fully convincing. Visuals and atmosphere are great, but pop-up is still too visible and moving around on foot and climbing is very clunky. Hopefully, the dev team will be able to iron things out before the game is released.
Sable will only be released in 2021 but we got our hands on a new (short) gameplay video of the game as well as a bunch of new screenshots to ease the wait. It should suffice as a reminder that the title's art style is still as unique as ever in the video game world. For those who are fond of Moebius' work, the inspiration of the dev team is quite obvious.
