Sega/Sonic Team presented the first footage of Shadow the Hedgehog at the GDC. As you'll be able to see by yourself in this video, you now play as Shadow, Sonic's ennemy, who now can use a gun... I get some Warrior Within vibes from this game. No platform has been announced yet.
