Devolver announces the digital release on PS4 and Xbox One of Flying Wild Hogs's Shadow Warrior 2. For a limited time you can get a small discount plus a free copy of the first game.

After Way of the Wang back in December, Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog have released for free a new DLC. Bounty Hunt Part 1 is a mission pack for Shadow Warrior 2 that brings 14 new missions, new weapons and perks. The title is currently 25% off on Steam. A DLC has been unleashed by Devolver Digital on Steam and GOG for Flying Wild Hog's Shadow Warrior 2. The free content pack, The Way of the Wang, unlocks a new area from the game's hub where you will face 7 brutal trials and get access to new crafting abilities and other perks. To celebrate the release of this DLC, the game is 25% through the weekend. More details inside along with the trailer and screenshots.

With a successful return back in 2013, the Shadow Warrior franchise had to be back for a sequel. Shadow Warrior 2 should be available in a few hours now, but we already have some 1440p footage to share. Although the game is pretty similar to the previous episode in terms of gameplay, Flying Wild Hog added a bunch of new mechanics to the original mix. Weapons can now be looted and upgraded (which gives them new abilities), pushing the RPG element a bit further. Some mission envrionments are also procedurally generated now, as shown in our second to last video. The game still remains a fast-paced FPS though, so don't worry if you're not a big fan of Borderlands or Diablo. Another new feature is the possibility to play the campaign with up to 3 friends.

Here are the opening credits of Shadow Warrior 2 which serve as a launch trailer too. The game from Flying Wild Hoig will hit PC tomorrow (and consoles in 2017) and there's already 10% off and if you own Shadow Warrior or Hard Reset Redux you will receive an additional 10%. Pre-orders are up at GOG, Steam and Humble Store and it will grant you a Razorback chainsaw katana.

Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog have revealed the release date of Shadow Warrior 2: October 13th for the PC version then it will hit consoles early in 2017. The game is now available for pre-order on GOG and Steam with 10% off and the Razorback katana as a bonus. There's also a Deluxe version that contains a soundtrack, digital art book and the Solid Gold Pack (skin and weapons). New trailer inside.

A couple of weeks ago, the upcoming crazy shooter Shadow Warrior 2 from Flying Wild Hog got new gameplay footage from PAX. The studio kindly sent us a good quality version of the 12-minute long video for you to enjoy. Keep an eye for this really fun game as it's coming later this year on PC and consoles.

Unveiled at E3 2015, here is a 15 minute-long gameplay video of Shadow Warrior 2 kindly sent for us by Devolver in order for you to enjoy in good quality and at 60fps. Set to release in 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Flying Wild Hog's shooter game brings new weapons, powers, enemies and demon slaying ninjas as partners for cooperation.
