We weren't sure if we would be able to bring you a video of Sonic Frontiers, but as is often the case, we were able to rely on our contacts at PLAION who gave us the opportunity to capture this 4K video of Sonic Frontiers on Xbox Series X. For your information, you can see the 4K mode in the first part of the video, then the 60 FPS mode starting at 17 minutes 37.

Sonic Frontiers is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, and SEGA has released a launch trailer.

Sonic Frontiers will be available in a few weeks now so it's no wonder to see a new video pop up on YouTube. This time, it focuses on the new combat system to satisfy your curiosity. We don't know yet if we'll be able to get an early copy of the game to give you our verdict, but we will definitely cover its release.

SEGA announced yesterday that Japanese band ONE OK ROCK will sing the ending theme of Sonic Frontiers. The song is entitled Vandalize, but as long as they do not vandalize our favorite blue hedgehog, we don't mind. The many fans of the band will be thrilled to hear that, as for they others, it probably won't make much of a difference. The announcement came with a new trailer showing a fe bits of the game that actually look a lot more like a Sonic title.

Until November 8 2022 arrives and we can see for ourselves whether or not Sonic Frontiers delivers, we are given a new trailer briefly focusing on its content and mechanics. We are just as curious to see if the game will hold up to its promises as we are wary, but we definitely hope this new 3D adventure will not turn out to be another misstep.

Sonic Frontiers was also granted a new video in time for Gamescom but we can't say it looks more reassuring than the previous ones. The game will launch on November 8 on pretty much all systems.

Today's Nintendo Direct Mini allowed SEGA to show a bit more of Sonic Frontiers, though we're still not fully convinced by what has been unveiled thus far. That said, we truly hope Sonic won't miss his return to 3D in this upcoming episode.

With yesterday's little teaser, we thought that Sonic Frontiers could maybe offer us an interesting 3D Sonic game. After watching these 7 new minutes of gameplay, we are however doubtful: the world seems quite empty and the gameplay unfortunately a bit boring... The most famous blue hedgehog in the world is about to take a leap of faith in a new episode which will apparently be open world. From what we can see in the first trailer of Sonic Frontiers, Zelda Breath of the Wild seems to be the main inspiration so we're curious to see how it will pan out.
