Mr. X Nightmare, the all-new DLC for Streets of Rage 4 is now available and adds to the original beat 'em up 3 new playable fighters (Estel, Shiva et Max), the Survival Mode, new moves and weapons. A free update is also live brining a new training mode, color palettes and Mania+ difficulty.

During IGN's Summer of Gaming 2021, we saw an 8 minutes gameplay video of Streets of Rage 4's DLC: Mr. X Nightmare. This paid DLC will add three new playable characters and a special Survival game mode later this year on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The release date of Streets of Rage 4 has finally been announced by Dotem and it's right around the corner: April 30th on PC, PS4, Xbox One (and Game Pass), and Switch. The new trailer also reveals the return of the legacy Battle Mode which features 8 arenas for Team mode or Versus fightings.

Twelve characters from the previous games will be playable in their pixelated form in Streets of Rage 4 thanks to the retro feature revealed today. Players will also be able to enjoy the soundtracks from the first two games. Trailer inside.

Dotemu and Lizardcube have revealed Floyd Iraia, the fifth playable character of Streets of Rage 4 and also announced the support of 2-player coop online and for the first time in the series, up to 4 players coop locally.
