First 10 minutes PC

Syndrome was recently released on PC and it gave us a bit of a hard time. Despite its atmospheric setting and its lightinh effects, the game is overall too dated for its own good. Playing with a controller is not pleasant at all due to the lack of precision in the camera movements, but even with a keyboard and a mouse, it is not fully enjoyable. One of the problems is that the framerate, though apparently stable at 60 fps according to Mirillis or Steam, is never smooth. The old-fashioned game design is another, though some older players might actually dig it somehow. We have prepared 4 videos so you can make up your own mind about the game, but it's hard for us to recommend for now as it really is not that engaging to play. At least for us...

Sci-fi survival horror game Syndrome is now available on Steam. After waking up from cryosleep you find yourself alone on a spaceship and eventually discover most of your crew is dead, the others are changed. PS4 and Xbox One versions are scheduled for a Q1 2017 release.

New screenshots and a new trailer of Syndrome, Camel 101's survival horror. The developer wants to show that the atmosphere doesn't make it all for this genre. After an exploration mission went wrong, deadly creatures are coming for you and you have scarce resources and the choice to fight or take flight. It's coming this Summer on PC (Oculus Rift support at launch), PS4 and Xbox One.

Scifi horror genre is not lacking video games, you can add one more to the list with Syndrome. Dazed and confused after waking up from cryosleep on a spaceship, the player notices most crew members are dead while those alive seem changed. You'll have to find out what happened with limited resources, spooky exploration and reactive enemies. It is set to release in Q2 2016 for PC (with Oculus Rift support), PS4 and One. You can help Greenlight it here. Check out the first screens and a trailer after the jump.
