When we first heard about The Park, we had pretty high expectations concerning the experience the game would provide. As a mother looking for her lost son in a creepy amusement park, we believed we'd be bound to be completely captivated by the story. We never thought the game would have much to offer in terms of gameplay mechanics, as it was obviously going to be what people like to call a walking simulator. So that's not what disappointed us, the problem is that we completed the game in barely an hour (and not two or three as the developers claimed), and we didn't even rush. Considering its price, we wouldn't recommend it despite its unsettling story. It is never truly scary but the atmosphere and the subject itself will make you feel uneasy. Aside from the debate around what is a game and what is not, it's sadly hard to understand the lack of content and length.
